Pi in Stainless Steel, originally uploaded by blamstur.

Although a visual junkie, I am, at heart, a mathematician and after coming across a tattoo of Euler’s formula, one of my favorite pieces of mathematics, which has a zen-like beauty to it, I have decided to post a series of pi related images. {Also I want to try out the flickrness link to wordpress, and this is a good excuse to play.} So here, in all its glory is a rather stunning steel sculpture, on Pelindaba Lavendar Farm, San Juan Island, Washington.
