On Chesil Beach McEwan

As an occasional (and very amateur) bookbinder, I am awed by the work of the real professionals, these master craftsman bookbinders. Recently, the V&A had a small exhibition, just outside the National Art Library, of commissioned bookbinding work for the 2007 Man Booker Prize. The one above is On Chesil Beach by Ian McEwan, bound by Peter Jones, a Fellow of Designer Bookbinders. The rest of the books can be found here.
